PARTNERSHIPS AND EDUCATION
Partnerships
At the Robbie Dean Centre we recognize the importance of holistic healthcare. That's why we actively cultivate partnerships with community organizations to bridge gaps, enhance service coordination, and simplify access to care for individuals navigating mental health challenges. Through collaborative efforts with our partners, we strive to create a seamless experience for those seeking support, empowering them to navigate, manage, and proactively engage in their healthcare journey.
Below are some of the current programs we're implementing in partnership with other organizations. As proud members of the Ottawa Valley Ontario Health Team (OVOHT), we are committed to further integrating our services into the existing healthcare landscape, ensuring comprehensive and accessible care for all.
Parents of suicidal youth virtual support group
In partnership with Parents Lifeline Eastern Ontario, this program provides education, tools, and peer support to help parents and caregivers navigate the challenges of supporting suicidal youth.

United Churches
In partnership with local United Churches, the Robbie Dean Centre is contributing to an innovative project designed to address geographic isolation and barriers to connectivity in rural Ontario.
By utilizing satellite technology, the program connects a counsellor virtually with an on-site trained peer supported group in multiple underserved areas across the County. This initiative provides professional group counselling alongside in-person peer support, making mental health services more accessible in rural communities.

A link to recovery
The Robbie Dean Centre and The Grind Pembroke are excited to offer "A Link to Recovery," an 8-week support group for those dealing with addiction and trauma. This group is open on a walk-in basis, with no registration required. It is designed to support individuals who are waiting for addiction treatment, thinking about quitting, or just beginning to recognize they may have an issue. By meeting people where they are at, the program helps participants prepare for positive lifestyle changes that promote wellness at all stages of their journey.
