The Robbie Dean Family Counselling Centre offered me accessible services for mental health illness and a personal connection. I truly felt as if the practice and approach were fresh and innovative. My initial visit was an eye-opener. The fresh approach to recognizing me as a person of value and worth was uplifting. I knew right away after my initial visit that I had found “my place”. Not only was my initial visit significant in itself but for the following week until my next visit, the counselor took the time to personally call me to check in with me. I now felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time. I felt like I was once again a person and not just another body walking through the door. I now felt that someone cared.”
A wonderful asset to this community…Walk in and ask for help..families, individuals can feel welcomed and understood. Support their initiatives..you will never know when you or someone you love requires comfort or direction.
The Center fills one of the busiest, vital needs for our population. Growing, the staff provides an essential service to those suffering, adding value to our region. They do this without government support! Kudos to Monique and her team for building such a strong, committed volunteer organization!
A wonderful way to honour Robbie’s memory and help others overcome the struggles they face along their journey. Thank you for all you do!
